Runners at the Scenic Smuttynose Palooza 5K

One happy runner–despite the angry sea erupting just behind him!

Historically high seas roiled the coastline in the aftermath of a March NorEaster–but did not dampen the spirits of runners at the Smuttynose Palooza 5K in Salisbury, MA.

Margarita’s 5K

Margarita’s Cinqo de Mayo 5K is a relatively flat 5K….and the best part is the excellent post-race gathering, hosted by Margarita’s Mexican Restaurant.

Mexican food! Fine beer (or margaritas, if you prefer.) And all your running friends!

What could be better?

Great Bay Half Marathon

The Great Bay Half marathon is a big race (part of the Locorunning “Will Run for Beer” seeies), with runners flowing over the rolling hills of seacoast New Hampshire. Musicians and dancers along the way provide entertainment, and everyone has a great time.

I’ve got an injury, so I can’t run today…but I’ll bike the course, and you can run along with me!

They call themselves Nice & Naughty. (Hmmm… Which one’s naughty?)

Margaritas 5K

The Margarita’s 5K is a flat 5K road race…followed by the best post-race food and drink I’ve encountered in well over a hundred road, trail, and mountain races. It’s part of the Locorunning “Will Run for Beer” race series, and an absolutely first-class experience.

I’m running with my camera, so you’ll get vivid, first-person views of the other runners…the food…and of course the beer!
